The Heights Pre-School
The Heights Pre-School is an integral part of the Junior Primary
component of The Heights School.
In addition to their own specific program, Pre-School children
share a range of facilities, programs and resources across the whole
school, regularly interacting with older students in many and varied
X-age peer tutoring experiences.
The Heights Pre-School is committed to providing a high quality,
challenging, differentiated and flexible play-learning environment
that supports the interests, developmental and learning needs of
all students, acknowledging their uniqueness, diversity, capacity for self direction and competent learning.
We aim to achieve this through a program that reflects contemporary
curriculum and methodologies based on guidelines from the South
Australian Curriculum, Standards and Accountability [SACSA] Framework and working in partnership with parents and community
The Pre-School Program gives high priority to all Learning Areas,
